What Are Quilters Blogging About Today?

I sewed a lot this year!   

Here are my favorites.  

#1     The pillows I made from Stevens' flannel shirts and suspenders.  

The photos on the labels show him wearing that specific shirt. 

(I've used other people's shirts and neckties in quilts this year.  Other than these flannel shirts I haven't tackled his yet.)

All batiks.  Accepted for the Wisconsin Quilt Expo in September.  

This was the first year I did SAHRR.    I have the starter block ready for 2026 ...

Paul's fear for my safety was obvious. Partly at his urging and partly out of caution, my blog focused on "just quilting" in 2025. As articulate and courageous I may have appeared to you,  I was chilled into silence.

I kept my head down. A new job meant I had plenty to occupy my time. A long commute gives me time to meditate.

Not my most productive, but here are a few of my favorite projects of 2025.

I'm never ready for the end of a year. With holidays in November and December, there are so many other things to think of. It always comes as a shock the day after Christmas to realize that the end of the year is a little less than a week away.  My thought's naturally turn to what I didn't get to this year and thinking of what to do better next year.  In all of those thought sessions it's so easy to loose track of all the cool things that happened in 2025.  So it's always ...
